I’m Maria Cass, founder of Intrinsic Homes. My work is grounded in creating homes that are both intentional and deeply personal.

With years of expertise as a hospitality designer and design manager, I bring together thoughtful planning, refined design, and quality construction into one cohesive, client-centered process. From concept through completion, I guide each project to ensure the result reflects how my clients truly live.

I believe in transparency through line-item budgets and in asking the right questions early. This approach helps clients make informed decisions with confidence. Through open communication and clear budgeting, I support clients every step of the way.

What sets the Intrinsic Homes approach apart is the ability to translate each client’s vision into a home that supports their lifestyle and reflects their personal aesthetic in a way that feels both natural and lasting.

Intrinsic Homes is a family-centered business, built alongside my husband, Jeremy, a residential electrician, and our son, Felix, who is learning all aspects of the industry. Outside of work, we enjoy life on our hobby farm and the peace it brings.

Building a home is personal. It is a privilege to bring each vision to life with care and intention.

Builder & Project Manager

Hello! I am Maria Cass, the builder and project manager for Intrinsic Homes. I began Intrinsic Homes, LLC in 2020 after losing my nine-year career as a Hospitality Designer and Design Manager.

With my passion for the technical details and options within design and my interest in designing functional, flexible floor plans, I took the leap. After many years in business, my passion has evolved into creating true partnerships with my clients. I believe full transparency, line item budgets, asking the right questions, gathering all the pertinent information, and educating my clients to ensure they are making the best decisions for their lifestyle and aesthetic style.

I love the opportunity to go with my clients to find all their finishes and ensure that it is all cohesive. We work together to bring their visions for their home, addition, or full renovation to life.

My business is very family-oriented. My husband Jeremy is a residential electrician. Our son Felix is very involved in learning aspects of the industry as he gets older. We have a small hobby farm where we enjoy raising various animals and the peace of the land.
